People frequently share with me the challenge they face in feeling overwhelmed and stuck when it comes to making a change in their life. They can easily identify a huge list of things they’d like to change, but they just aren’t sure how, or where, to start.
It seems the more they contemplate the process of changing, the more terrified they become at the thought of leaving their “comfort zone” to make it happen.
And just like that, they give up before they’ve even started.
I'm here to show you that overcoming IS possible!
I spent so much time dreaming of how my life could improve, wishing I could break certain habits and create better ones. I envisioned doing more with my life and making a deeper impact on others. It seemed the moment I tried to make a plan of action, all I could see were the challenges and difficulties I would face. It felt really scary and I just knew I was going to fail… again.
Although I didn’t realize it at the time, I was self-sabotaging. I made excuses to justify putting off the act of changing. I didn’t want to face the mistakes I’d made in the past, let alone mistakes I would make during the process of changing. It just seemed to hard.
It wasn’t until I shifted my mindset that I began seeing the results I was dreaming of.
One day, I just decided I wanted to change more than I wanted to stay the same. I realized how uncomfortable my "comfort zone" actually was and began to feel a deep desire to move from being a victim to an overcomer.
For this to happen, a few things changed within me. I sat down and made some commitments to myself. Those commitments became a major mind-shift that fueled my success!
