About CHRISSY

After 15 years in the software development industry, I was inspired by the New York Times and Wall Street Journal's best-selling book 'The Dream Manager' by Matthew Kelly, I felt a calling to implement the principals described in the book at the corporation I work for. My heart longed to make a direct impact in the lives of those around me, so I started 'Dare to Dream', a grassroots community of associates with a desire to be fully engaged in their career and in life.

After much prayer, it became clear I was called to coach.  In 2011, I became a Certified Life Coach through The AACC! I haven't learned everything I know directly from a text book, but I do know how it feels to struggle, give up, start over, and fight for my dreams.

In my life, I've suffered the pain of divorce, financial hardship, depression, anxiety, health struggles, the loss of 5 babies to miscarriage, and have faced the fear of starting over.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis, a very painful female disease with no cure.  In the span of three years, I endured four surgeries and recoveries - the last of which was a hysterectomy.

I've struggled to find my self-worth and purpose in life. I've watched my dreams almost die.  I've felt unworthy and I've felt like giving up.  Believe me, I know how difficult it is to hold on.  God carried me through and I truly believe He can and will help you overcome, too!

TESTIMONIALS

"Chrissy is a powerhouse of motivation! She's positive, caring, energetic, and really cares about making a difference. She's not afraid to speak up and question the way things work, in order to improve the process. She's a wonderful, engaging speaker and a take-charge person!"

"When I met Chrissy, I had severe chronic migraines and a lot of stress in my life. I was not happy with my current position but felt lost with nowhere to go. She listened to me without judgment, and she was never afraid or ashamed to share her own struggles and failures with me. Her genuine and caring nature made it easy for me to open up to her. Her personal stories and commitment to realizing her own dreams were an inspiration. Chrissy encouraged me to dream and to pursue my true passions. After deciding to make a drastic lifestyle change in order to rid myself of migraines, Chrissy was supportive and there for me every step of the way. Four months later, I have a new job I am extremely passionate about, and feel healthier than I have in years. I continue to read Chrissy’s blog for ongoing inspiration, and am grateful to have someone like her in my corner. I highly recommend Chrissy as a life coach."

"People think I'm joking when I refer to Chrissy as the girl that it's impossible to be in a bad mood around. It's no joke! Her positive energy, empathetic spirit, and compassion helped me through one of the most difficult periods in my life. You can tell her passion lies in helping others fulfill their dreams. A drive to help others like hers is hard to come by, and she has it to spare!"
