Can a Life Coach Help Me

Are you unsure what a life coach is? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Let me bring you up to speed!

What is a Life Coach?

A life coach helps you get from where you are in life to where you want to be. They support and motivate you, holding you accountable to achieving your vision and dreams. A life coach helps you define what you really want, uncover what’s holding you back from achieving it, and take steps to move toward it. It's like having your own personal cheerleader!

We all face difficult situations and emotional barriers that make it tough to keep going. It helps to have someone by your side encouraging you to push past those. Just as a sports coach empowers athletes to become driven competitors, a life coach helps people from all personal and professional backgrounds improve their strengths and use their struggles to make them better.

A life coach is not a psychologist, therapist, or counselor. They do not focus on current mental health issues or past hurts. Rather, a life coach helps clients discover a new perspective on life and open their mind to new possibilities, providing tools and support needed to overcome.

If you've ever struggled with losing weight, achieving a dream, moving out of your comfort zone, standing up for yourself, maintaining good relationships, or achieving things you’ve always wanted to do (like checking items off your 'bucket-list'), consulting a life coach could help you!

How Do I Get Started?

First, do some research. Since you’ll share personal information with your life coach, you’ll want to find someone with whom you feel at ease. You'll need to be comfortable with your coach's personality and communication style. For coaching to be successful, it has to be the right fit for both parties.

You get out of the coaching experience what you put into it, so hire a coach when you're ready to make changes and devote your attention to doing the work!

To see if we connect, I like to talk with all clients before partnering together! E-mail me to schedule your free ‘Nice to Meet Ya!’ session. We’ll spend around 30 minutes getting to get to know each other, you'll share with me your goals and challenges, and discuss working together!

I'm so excited to begin!
